Camp Out Yonder events
are all about balance, my friends.

Join a remarkable group of speakers, instructors, musicians and attendees for an analog experience at the gate of the Sierra Nevadas. Explore new ideas, make new friends and discover new abilities. Adventure awaits.

Reset your internal compass

Get away from it all for one weekend in nature and surround yourself with people who still value human connection. Turn off your technology, leave the skyscrapers behind for towering pine trees and ditch the sound of your notifications for the soothing flow of a creek. In today’s fast paced world, we are able to communicate with each other more conveniently than ever, yet we find ourselves to be even more disconnected. Our work weeks have gotten longer, our anxiety has gotten higher and we are losing touch with what it is that makes humanity so damn amazing.

But Camp Out Yonder isn’t anti-tech by any means. We’re mindful tech– taking on a notion that technology should have boundaries in our lives the same way people do.

Take the time to remember what it feels like to be who you really are and allow yourself to experience the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the crackling sound of wood burning in a campfire without distraction. Learn the tools you need to lead you into a more balanced life with greater engagement, improved sleep and higher productivity. No followers needed.

Just want to relax? Feel free to hang back at camp and enjoy one of many tech-free activities we offer like our lawn and board games, a postcard station, an art and listening room, DIY aromatherapy, a book from the little library or even take a dip in the pool.

    Campfire Lectures

Explore the different styles and traditions of meditation and how it effects us physically. You will have the opportunity to practice a guided session and take home tips for bringing the meditation practice with you to incorporate it into your daily life. Q & A.
Join this intimidate conversation to learn actionable items to create boundaries and make technology work for you when you get back to reality. Q & A.

    Analog Workshops

Remember what it’s like to have a limited number of photos on a roll of film? Take a walk and engage with others. When was the last time you wrote in a journal? Learn some take-home skills that will help you establish a work/life balance.

    Fireside Acoustic

Sit ’round the campfire stoked with a s’mores bar. Not your typical kumbaya, enjoy listening to live music from artists like Liam Kyle Cahill– whose raw energy and passion are said to be the fuel behind the driving sound of his whip-smart lyrics and earnest guitar chops.
